Inspiration Point is proud to call The Great Smoky Mountains “Home”. Our lakeside RV and Camper park is situated in one of the oldest cities in Tennessee and hosts spectacular views, beautiful waterways and some killer fishing spots! Don’t believe your eyes? Come and see for yourself.
Located on Douglas Lake, Inspiration Point Campground and Boat Dock is located off Exit 415 off Interstate 40. The RV community is located in the Muddy Creek community of Dandridge. It is located in an area that has abundant wildlife. We have 60 RV pads, for seasonal living, on Douglas Lake in Dandridge, TN. We have 18 boat slips for rent. We have 4 cabins, and 2 manufactured homes that we rent on Airbnb. Come join us!
Nineteen of the spaces are waterfront. The 20 slip boat dock was replaced in 2011. In addition to the spaces for RVs there are two, two-bedroom rental cabins that have updated furniture. There is also a rental house with newer furnishings as well. There is a popular boat launch near the boat dock.
The Muddy Creek area is a popular choice for competitors and spectators of the annual Bassmasters competition on Douglas Lake. RV spaces can have annual agreements. Because of the location, Inspiration Point is a popular place for fishing, watersports and boating.

We strive to encourage positive attitudes through a quality camping experience. Helping people reach their dreams and overcoming unusual obstacles and challenges are central to our mission.
Its imperative that we communicate the importance of honoring people with special needs. We accomplish this by equipping the individual, their families, and other organizations with the proper skill set to care for and demonstrate unconditional love.Our motto is to serve, serve, serve, and serve some more!
